About the Authors
Emily Yoon
Hi, I’m Emily Yoon, an aspiring neurologist with a passion for understanding the human mind. Through this blog, I weave together my personal experiences and psychological concepts to make the science of the brain more relatable, engaging, and real.

I’ve always been fascinated by how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors shape our lives. I want to use my journey through both successes and struggles to break down complex ideas into comprehensive insights.

I’m currently a senior, balancing academics and community service while keeping up with my love for creating authentic desserts (you need to try my mango sago). My ultimate goal is to share stories that educate and inspire you to see psychology in everyday life.

Taliha Baqai
Hi! My name is Taliha Baqai, and I’m an aspiring psychiatrist with a deep passion for mental health advocacy and research, especially in the area of neurological disorders.
I decided to write on this blog to spark meaningful conversations, break down the stigma surrounding mental health, and share what I’ve learned (and continue to learn!) on my journey. Whether you’re curious about psychology, looking for support, or just want to expand your perspective, I hope you’ll find something here that speaks to you.
I’m currently a rising junior, juggling academics with my love for running, baking, and — let’s be honest — taking the occasional well-deserved nap. Beyond the textbooks and brain scans, I believe that understanding the human mind requires empathy, openness, and community. I hope that you all will explore the world of mental health and join a growing movement of change-makers, advocates, and allies.

Stephanie Kim
Hi, my name is Stephanie Kim, and I am a striving learner of human behavior. Using this blog, I am able to research and explore my questions (and hopefully yours) of how our bodies and minds act in specific situations, to explain the psychology behind our actions.

I have been seeking to dive deeper into the hows and whys of our behaviors and what goes through our entire body as we physically act.

I have used this opportunity to write more ideas based on our late-night thoughts, and to share helpful information to open up our eyes to the unknown world inside of us.

I'm currently a sophomore, managing my time with volunteering, swimming, academics, and journaling with adorable animal stickers. At the end of the day, I hope to spread knowledge of the disappointing, exciting, and interesting moments in our lives for everyone to recognize.
